Drone:

  • Remember to add the VTX antenna before powering the drone.
  • Remove the propellers before using Betaflight Configurator.
  • Ensure that the cables of the battery are not going to catch on the propellers.

Liftoff:

  • Tutorial is very hard
  • Choose Dquad Obsession 6″ for an easy to flight drone

Calibrate ESC using Betaflight Configurator (for example when the motors spin at different speed):

  • Make sure LiPo battery is disconnected from the quad.
  • In “motor” tab in Betaflight, enable the check box “I understand” at the bottom.
  • Move the master slider all the way to the top.
  • Connect the battery, the motors will beep for a few seconds.
  • When the motors stop beeping, drag the master slider all the way down to the bottom, the motors will beep again to indicate the calibration is completed successfully.
